We are currently recruiting for an experienced Luton Van Driver to join our client's busy team.
This is a full-time position offering ongoing work with the opportunity to secure a permanent role.
Duties
- Driving a 3.5-tonne Luton van.
- Completing local and regional deliveries and collections.
- Loading and unloading goods using a tail lift and pump truck where required.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and reporting any defects.
- No multi-drop routes - this role involves straightforward deliveries and collections.
Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- Previous experience driving a Luton van or 3.5-tonne vehicle.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- No DR, DD or IN endorsements.
- Good knowledge of UK roads.
- Physically fit, as some manual handling is required.
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping.
