A Leading Global provider of Logistics & Shipping Service is headquartered in Dublin with offices and logistics centres across Ireland, United Kingdom, Mainland Europe and Asia. Its core competencies include Overnight Express Groupage and Full Load Freight to and from the island of Ireland, with offices and warehouses in Haydock, London, Antrim, Dublin and Cork operating scheduled logistics services to and from all five locations. They specialise in Hazardous Cargo, with each office having a DGSA, ensuring all consignments shipped are fully compliant with all ADR and IMDG regulations.
The Role: Export Freight Co-Ordinator based at our London branch. Reporting to the Operations Manager.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Data entry, booking collection and preparing them for export entry.
- Use various forms of communication to engage with customers regarding bookings and any job queries that they may have.
- Develop constructive relationships with key customers, understanding the clients' business and meeting their shipping needs.
- Co-ordination of export groupage and full-load movements.
- Provide transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer collection/delivery requirements are met.
- Monitor incoming mail and highlight potential problem areas to relevant staff.
- Promote and maintain image, procedures and standards as set and with management.
- Late finish to be done at least once a week for loading and customs completion.
- Action other ad hoc duties as requested by team leader.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in groupage shipping.
- Good knowledge and experience of exports and customs procedures.
- Able to work toward and meet deadlines.
- Computer literate.
- Able to plan ahead.
- A proactive attitude.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
