We are currently recruiting for a Fitter's Mate to work at a busy recycling plant, assisting maintenance fitters with the repair and upkeep of machinery and site equipment.

Duties include:

  • Assisting with mechanical maintenance and repairs
  • Supporting breakdowns and planned maintenance
  • General labouring and tool handling
  • Assisting with welding, electrics, and plumbing when required
  • Maintaining a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous site or mechanical experience preferred
  • Reliable, hardworking, and physically fit
  • Flexible with working hours

Hours: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00 (times may vary). Weekend work available when required.

Pay: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
