Job Purpose: To accurately cut cables to specified lengths, coil them neatly, and package them securely ready for dispatch, ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut cables to precise lengths according to job sheets or work orders
- Coil cables neatly and consistently to company standards
- Package cables correctly, including labelling and sealing for shipment
- Ensure accuracy of quantities and sizes before packaging
- Carry out basic quality checks to identify defects or damage
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company guidelines
- Report any issues with materials, equipment, or specifications to the supervisor
- Meet productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
Skills & Experience:
- Essential:
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written instructions and measurements
- Manual handling capability
- Basic numeracy skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Desirable:
