Tool Maker in Skelmersdale

Supreme Recruitment are recruiting for a Toolmakerto join our client based in Skelmersdale, focusing on the production of high-quality tooling and component parts for a Manufacturing toolroom.

This is a permanent position directly with our client from day one.

The Role

As a Toolmaker, youll be responsible for working with both Conventional and CNC machinery to produce:

• Fixtures
• Tooling
• Press tools
• Componentry
• Occasionalreworkof existing components

Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC machines (training provided on our specific equipment)
• Manufacture precision parts to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Contribute to the development of tooling solutions for production needs
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

What Were Looking For

• Proven experience as a Toolmaker
• Confident in programming and operating CNC machines (generic knowledge required)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling design
• Attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Training & Development

We will provide training on the specific machines and systems we use however, candidates must bring a solid base of CNC programming and operating experience to succeed in this role.

This position is working day hours only and salary is dependent on experience in the range of £35,000 – £41,500 plus overtime.
