Mechanical Fitter

Supreme Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter for our client based in Smethwick, a multi-site manufacturer.

They are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to work in their Maintenance team on a long term basis.
This position will go permanent after 13 weeks.
Hours: 0730 or 8am start, 4pm/ 4:30pm finish (dependent on your preference)
Pay: Dependent on skill set and experience, £14-£17.50 per hour
This position will suit people with experience working with Presses, Guillotines, Rolling Mills or similar
Duties
– Preventative Maintenance activities
– Reactive maintenance and repair of hydraulic/ pneumatic systems
– Working as part of a maintenance team
– General Fitting of mechanical parts
– Other duties as reasonably required
What are we looking for?
– Experience xiskglj working in a similar position
– Mechanical understanding
– Understanding or experience working with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
– Be available for long term work
