Salary: 26,227.50 (13.45ph)
- Working at a production facility in Coleshill
- Working a two-shift pattern, 5 days a week:
- Days (06:00 - 13:30)
- Afternoons (13:30 - 21:00)
- Regular overtime:
- Monday to Saturday 1.5x
- Sunday 2x (not so regular)
- Shift premium of 20% on hours worked after 17:00
- Helping to run the pleating and hooking machine
- Quality checking curtains as they come off the production line
- Preparing the curtains to be packed
- Packing curtains into boxes ready for distribution
KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE: To manufacture and assemble the product range as required, where training has been provided, in accordance with documented company procedures and the company’s Environmental and Quality Policies.
Manufacturing requirements:
- Running the Pleat machine to recognised procedures
- Operating the Hook machine to recognised procedures
- Manufacture, packing and boxing of curtains according to detailed instructions, in preparation for courier or fitter collection as appropriate
- Undertake predetermined quality checks at each step of production to facilitate corrections
