Job Purpose: The Handballing Operative is responsible for the manual unloading, sorting, stacking, and movement of goods within the warehouse or loading bays. This role involves physical work and contributes to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Manually unload goods from containers, lorries, or pallets * Sort, stack, and organize products according to delivery or storage requirements * Check for damaged or missing items and report discrepancies * Assist with wrapping, labelling, or repacking goods as needed * Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area * Follow company health & safety procedures at all times * Work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and daily targets * Communicate any issues or delays to supervisors promptly * May be required to support other warehouse tasks (e.g. picking/packing) as needed Skills & Requirements: * Physically fit and capable of heavy manual handling * Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment * Good attention to detail * Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player * Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labour role * Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime when required * Understanding of basic health & safety practices Shift: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm Pay: £12.21ph with weekly pay
