CNC Setter/Operator

Pay: £16.99-£17.98 per hour Job Description: CNC Setter Operator – Permanent Position Sutton Coldfield (just on the outskirts) Modern offices, games room and great working facilities Supreme Recruitment are recruiting for a well-established manufacturer of electrical conductors and connectors. We are recruiting for a CNC Setter Operator to set various CNC Machinery including VMC's, Millers and Turning Centres. Your duties may include: * Setting and operating up to 4 CNC's (VMC and Millers) per shift * Carrying out tool changes * working as part of a team - escalating manufacturing issues to the correct team etc. * Presetting CNC's * Checking tooling is correct for the part * Keeping a clean, friendly working environment Pay: £14.94 per hour plus shift allowance 13.75% - total training rate of £16.99, increasing to £15.81 plus shift allowance 13.75% once fully trained rate of £17.98 Free parking, easily accessible via the motorway Hours: 6am - 2pm/ 2pm - 10pm rotating * Permanent, Full-Time Position with a stable, well-established manufacturing business * Overtime & Bonus Available What are we looking for? * Minimum 2 years' experience setting and operating CNC Milling machines * Experience with 3 axis CNC - Millers, Turning Centres and VMC's will be considered * Ability to read engineering drawings * Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach * Ability to work as part of a team * Advantageous if you are apprentice trained/ hold a Level 3 Engineering Company Benefits * Permanent job security * Clean working environment * 38 hour working week * 33 days holiday including statatory holidays * 3% Christmas Bonus * Company pension - 5% matched * Free on-site parking * State-of-the-art machinery * Full training provided * Sick scheme up to 60 days * Excellent overtime opportunities * Clean, forward thinking working environment
