We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Quarry Operative to join a dynamic team. This role is central to the daily operation of the quarry, ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective production of materials. You will be involved in both plant operation and mobile plant activities, supporting all aspects of site operations.
- Operate and maintain the processing plant to meet production targets.
- Operate mobile plant to feed the processing plant efficiently.
- Conduct planned maintenance and general housekeeping duties around the site.
- Continuously review equipment and production conditions.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to working tasks and hours.
- Solid experience in quarry extraction, processing, or a similar industry.
- Practical experience operating mobile plant such as loaders, excavators, or dump trucks.
- Experience in plant operation and/or feeding processing plant hoppers is desirable.
- Understanding of Health & Safety policies and procedures associated with quarrying or site operations.
- Relevant mobile plant certifications (e.g., CPCS Loading Shovel) preferred.
- LGV license is a plus if involved in vehicle loading or transport.
