The Role: We are looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join a busy courier company in Snetterton for a short-term temp role from June 1stβ5th. You will be responsible for collections and deliveries across the region, representing the company professionally on the road. Manual handling of parcels is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive articulated lorries safely on scheduled collection and delivery routes
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently, including manual handling of parcels
- Handle parcels and goods securely to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery and collection records and report any issues
Requirements:
- Full Class 1 HGV licence (articulated / lorry trailer)
- CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) β mandatory
- Digital or physical tachograph card β mandatory
- Manual handling experience or ability to safely handle heavy parcels
- Excellent road safety record and reliability
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong customer service skills
