We are currently recruiting 3 experienced LGV C (HGV Class 2) Refuse Drivers to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis at our Yate Depot.
Location: Yate - South Gloucestershire
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (after 12 weeks)
- Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
- Working Hours: 07:00 - 16:00
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Role Responsibilities:
- Operating either: a 12-tonne kerbside recycling collection vehicle, or a 26-tonne refuse / garden waste collection vehicle (RCV)
- Completing scheduled collection routes safely and efficiently
- Working alongside a team of loaders
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and adhering to safety regulations
- Assisting with loading duties where required (driver-loader role)
Requirements:
- Valid LGV C (Class 2) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in refuse or similar roles preferred
- Must arrive with basic PPE (safety boots, high-visibility clothing)
