We are currently recruiting for 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join a busy parcel distribution operation based in Liverpool, near Kirkby. These are ongoing temporary positions with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidates. This role involves both collections and deliveries, working as part of a fast-paced transport operation. Drivers will be responsible for completing deliveries efficiently while maintaining excellent service standards.
Duties:
- Carrying out collections and deliveries across designated routes
- Loading and unloading parcels at depot and customer locations
- Using handheld devices to update delivery information and job statuses
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with the transport team throughout the shift
Shift Pattern: 4 days out of 7, 09:00 – 19:00
Pay Rates: £16.05 per hour, £23.43 per hour overtime (paid after 40 hours)
Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months' experience driving 7.5 tonne vehicles or similar
