Supreme Freight Services Limited are looking for a full time Accounts Payable member to join our busy Finance team, based in the Southampton Head Office. Primary function is to process supplier invoices/credits within our industry specific software, in a timely manner, to then reconcile against supplier statements for timely supplier payments to be made.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with suppliers and internal staff daily to resolve any queries
- Coding and passing of suppliers invoice/credits within the Freight forwarding software
- Understanding foreign currency invoices and payments
- Filing of supplier invoices/credits through the paperless system
- Must work well as a team
- Able to meet deadlines set
- Other administrative duties as and when required
Responsible to the Accounts Payable Manager, and then the Finance Director. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook are essential. Knowledge of Sage 200 would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
