Freelancer contract – Immediate joiners only. The Dressing Planning Senior Manager plays a critical role in managing the Dressing sub-project within Marketing’s three business streams—the Supreme Committee (SC), Host Country, and Tournament—to ensure seamless integration and successful delivery of the event experience. Working closely with the Signage Manager, this role provides strategic and creative direction aligned with the overall Marketing and Tournament strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the Host Country’s Dressing project, overseeing the development of high‑level and detailed project plans, and coordinating complex information amid shifting deadlines.
- Preparing key planning documents such as Concept of Operations (ConOps), cost analyses, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Accountable for budget planning, execution, and preparation of tender documentation.
- Ensuring all deliverables meet high standards of quality and timeliness while fully complying with the SC Quality Policy and Safety and Security requirements.
- Driving strategic planning and successful implementation of the Host Country Dressing scope and deliverables to support the overall success of the event.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- 8+ years managing Dressing projects for major international sporting events.
- Strong expertise in Dressing delivery methods, materials, and installation for large‑scale events.
- Proven ability to develop and execute Dressing strategies with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills under tight deadlines.
- Priority to people that have previous experience in Qatar (FAC, FWC, AFC etc).
