We are looking for Health Care Professionals who share the same values as we do at Supportive. Our not-for-profit charity places people at the forefront of everything we do.
We look at the person. We require someone who has empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives in our local community.
Please don’t worry if you have never done this role before; we provide full training and ongoing support to build your confidence and skills. We have a variety of hours available, so we are confident we could find a schedule that suits both your home life and our service users.
You can expect to assist vulnerable people in our community, promote their independence, and help them remain in the comfort of their own home. We assist people with daily living tasks.
You do not need to be a 5-star chef; basic cooking skills are helpful to ensure our service users are always well fed, and everyone knows home-cooked food is good for the soul.
Be someone’s listening ear, their laughter, their comfort, their house tidier, their outfit of the day picker, the shopping list writer. Be someone’s reason every day.
