As a Senior Support Worker / Team Leader, you will play a key role in guiding and leading a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You will support individuals to live independently, make their own choices, and engage in the activities they enjoy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, has a passion for care, and is ready to take the next step in their career., * Lead and support the care team, acting as the first point of contact in the absence of the Service Manager

  • Assist with the supervision and development of Support Workers, ensuring high standards of care

  • Create and manage team rotas, ensuring adequate coverage for the people we support

  • Maintain accurate communication and records, including financial records of service users

  • Provide hands-on care and guidance, promoting independence and person-centred care at all times

  • Support the induction and mentoring of new staff members

  • Liaise with families, professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for those we support

We are looking for someone with experience in a care setting, particularly working with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Experience in CQC-registered environments is highly desirable. You will have strong leadership skills, a positive and proactive attitude, and a commitment to making a difference. The role is challenging but rewarding, offering the chance to develop both professionally and personally., * Experience in a similar role (Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, etc.)

  • Experience working in CQC-registered settings preferred

  • Passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • A positive, can-do attitude

  • Right to work in the UK (Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship)

  • Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check
