We are seeking an IMS Lead/Manager to plan, coordinate, & deliver our ISO 9001 Quality Management System application. Working to ensure we are audit‑ready, embed proportionate & practical quality processes reflective of a charity environment & ongoing management of the QMS.

What are we looking for?
- Essential
- Proven project or broader management experience.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and quality management principles.
- Experience supporting audits, assessments, or certification processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into clear, accessible guidance.
- Experience with ISO frameworks (27001 and/or 9001).
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Strong documentation and process‑mapping skills.
- Ability to run internal audits and manage corrective actions.
- Analytical and risk‑based thinking.
- Able to work with teams of mixed IT knowledge.
- Desirable
- Project management and/or quality certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, ISO Lead Implementer).
- Charity or volunteer‑led organisation experience.
- Experience with CRM platforms (Donorfy, Beacon, Zoho).
- Aware of safeguarding and Charity Commission expectations.
- Understanding of information security principles (NCSC, Cyber Essentials Plus).

What will you be doing?
- Lead the end‑to‑end ISO 9001 application, from initial gap analysis to certification readiness.
- Lead the IMS assistant to help deliver.
- Develop and manage a clear project plan, milestones, and reporting.
- Coordinate contributions from staff, volunteers, and external advisors.
- Support the development and documentation of QMS policies, procedures, and processes.
- Prepare the organisation for audit, including evidence gathering and internal reviews.
- Provide clear progress updates to senior leadership and, where appropriate, trustees.
- Establish, maintain and continually improve the charity’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Lead the overall implementation workstreams for ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 2022.
- Maintain the Statement of Applicability (SOA), risk register, and ISMS documentation.
- Ensure Charity Commission compliance is embedded into processes (risk management, safeguarding, trustee oversight).
