Join Supporting Healthcare Heroes UK (SHH-UK), the only UK-wide charity for healthcare workers with Long Covid. We’re seeking compassionate volunteers to moderate a monthly evening online peer support group (first Thursday). Help create a safe, empowering space to move forward together.

At Supporting Healthcare Heroes UK, we support healthcare workers living with Long Covid to rebuild confidence, connection and purpose. Our peer support groups reduce isolation, strengthen resilience, and help members navigate returning to work safely and sustainably. By volunteering, you help create a trusted space where lived experience is valued and no healthcare worker has to move forward alone.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent listening, communication, and facilitation experience
- Compassion and the ability to support people facing health challenges
- A collaborative spirit and a belief in SHH-UK’s mission

What You’ll Do
- Facilitate online support groups for healthcare workers with Long Covid who are working or in the process of returning to work alongside another moderator
- Provide a safe, empathetic space for healthcare workers with Long Covid
- Each session will run for 1 hour and will have two moderators in attendance
