Location: Leicestershire (County-wide Refuge & Dispersed Accommodation Services)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 30 hours per week over four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday), with occasional evenings, weekends and participation in an on-call rota.
Salary: £30,296 FTE (£15.50 - £20.00 per hour dependent on pay status)
We are recruiting for an experienced Safe Accommodation Manager to lead a county-wide refuge and dispersed accommodation service across Leicestershire, supporting adults and children affected by domestic abuse. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a dedicated team, oversee service delivery and safeguarding, and work alongside partner agencies to provide high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise and support staff and volunteers across multiple accommodation sites.
- Manage referrals, admissions, case allocation and team workloads.
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring safeguarding best practice is embedded throughout the service.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality support for residents and their children.
- Manage staff rotas, supervision, appraisals and professional development.
- Monitor service performance, contract reporting and financial records.
- Develop partnerships with external agencies and contribute to service development.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, health and safety, equality and confidentiality standards.
- Experience managing or supervising staff or volunteers.
- Experience working within refuge, supported accommodation, housing or domestic abuse services.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults and children.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Understanding of housing and domestic abuse legislation.
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS either dated within the last 12 months or on the Update Service.
