Role: Hospital Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advisor (IDSVA) Location: Bristol Salary: £27,700 – £29,000 (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time – Fixed Term Contract until the end of March 2026 with a strong chance of the role becoming a permanent opportunity (subject to funding) Are you passionate about supporting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse? Our client, a highly specialist charity in the Southwest, is currently recruiting for several Hospital based Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocates to work across A&E and Maternity Departments in Bristol. As a Hospital IDSVA, you’ll work directly within a busy hospital environment, providing crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and ongoing practical support to patients experiencing domestic and/ or sexual abuse. You’ll liaise closely with hospital staff, safeguarding teams, and external agencies to ensure survivors receive the protection, care, and respect they deserve.
