Rate: £50,200 – 62,800pa

Supporting Futures is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading national harm reduction charity, for an experienced Clinical Lead to embedding and developing substance misuse services across Derby. Our client has recently been awarded the Pan-Derby City contract, creating a unique opportunity to support with its mobilisation while supporting an established, high-performing service through an exciting new phase.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior registered healthcare professional to lead clinical practice and excellence whilst helping shape the service’s future under our client’s new leadership.

The Opportunity

  • Strategic and operational clinical leadership across Derby’s treatment services, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based and trauma-informed care
  • Clinical governance, quality and patient safety
  • Medicines management and prescribing assurance
  • Safeguarding and complex case management
  • Clinical supervision and operational management of clinical staff
  • Service improvement and innovation
  • Partnership working across health, social care and criminal justice

We’re Looking For

  • Clinical experience (including Nursing, Therapeutic, Pharmaceutical and/or Physician/Clinician) and a professional registration (NMC, GPhC etc)
  • Operational management experience and experience of leading multidisciplinary clinical teams
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance, CQC standards, safeguarding and medicines management
  • Highly desirable that you have experience within prescribing and/or experience within substance misuse/related clinical settings
  • An Independent Prescribing qualification or advanced clinical qualification would be highly desirable
  • A passion for improving outcomes through compassionate, trauma-informed leadership
