Salary: £17-20 per hour depending on pay status

Hours: Full time | Monday-Friday | On-call rota (1 week in 3)

Duration: Temporary with potential to become permanent

Supporting Futures are working with a well-established charity delivering accommodation-based support to people experiencing homelessness. The service provides safe, supported accommodation and tailored support to help individuals rebuild stability and move towards independent living.

We are currently recruiting for a Team Manager to join the management team within a supported accommodation service. This is a key operational role overseeing day to day service delivery and supporting a team delivering frontline support to vulnerable adults. This position is initially offered on a temporary basis but may become permanent for the right person.

The Role

The Team Manager plays a central role in ensuring high quality support services are delivered within the accommodation setting. You will oversee operational delivery, support and supervise staff teams, and ensure the service continues to deliver positive outcomes for residents. You will also deputise for the Service Manager when required and play an active role in shaping and maintaining an effective, supportive and safe environment for both staff and residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of day-to-day service delivery within a supported accommodation setting
  • Managing and supporting a team of support workers and frontline staff
  • Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and risk management
  • Monitoring case management, support planning and client outcomes
  • Maintaining strong partnership working with local authorities and external agencies
  • Supporting staff development, supervision and performance management
  • Deputising for the Service Manager when required
  • Participating in the on-call rota (1 week in every 3)

About You

We are looking for an experienced manager who understands the complexities of homelessness and supported accommodation services. You will have:

  • Experience managing frontline support teams
  • Experience working within homelessness, supported housing or accommodation-based services
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and risk management experience
  • Confidence overseeing service delivery and operational performance
  • Experience working in partnership with local authorities and multi-agency partners
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
  • A relevant qualification in health and social care, housing, or a related field (Level 3 or above) would be advantageous.
