Overview
Supporting Futures is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading national harm reduction charity for an experienced Clinical Lead to embed and develop substance misuse services across Derby. Our client has recently been awarded the Pan-Derby City contract, creating a unique opportunity to support mobilisation while maintaining an established, high‑performing service through an exciting new phase.
Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational clinical leadership across Derby’s treatment services, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence‑based and trauma‑informed care.
- Clinical governance, quality and patient safety.
- Medicines management and prescribing assurance.
- Safeguarding and complex case management.
- Clinical supervision and operational management of clinical staff.
- Service improvement and innovation.
- Partnership working across health, social care and criminal justice.
Qualifications
- Clinical experience (Nursing, Therapeutic, Pharmaceutical and/or Physician/Clinician) and a professional registration (NMC, GPhC, etc.).
- Operational management experience and leading multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, CQC standards, safeguarding and medicines management.
- Highly desirable: experience within prescribing and/or within substance misuse/related clinical settings.
- An Independent Prescribing qualification or advanced clinical qualification would be highly desirable.
- A passion for improving outcomes through compassionate, trauma‑informed leadership.
