Hours: 12 - 6 SHIFTS

The role will include delivering therapeutic programmes to help families recover from trauma caused by domestic abuse.

Synopsis of duties:

  • Delivering an effective programme, involving delivering therapeutic programmes to families who have experienced domestic abuse
  • Arranging activities and resources supporting play and social interaction for children
  • Contributing to the planning and reviewing processes for the family and children's programmes and activities to ensure continuous improvement and development to meet the changing needs of the centre
  • Providing support for parents, carers and their families with opportunities for them to engage in exploring faith, including linking up with the spiritual programme
  • Supporting families with advice including: life skills, move on housing, facilitating school placements or signposting to external agencies/professionals
  • Working in partnership with social services and other professional bodies

Essential Requirements:

  • Female candidates only
  • Enhanced DBS on update service or issued within the last 12 months
  • Experience of working with early years, level 3 qualification preferred
