This role is an experienced IT Business Partner at Supporting Education Group. The primary focus is to act as a strategic liaison between Technology and business units, ensuring IT services and solutions deliver measurable value and align with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to understand objectives and translate them into IT strategies and roadmaps.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technology-related needs within assigned business areas.
- Capture, assess, and prioritise business requirements for IT services and projects.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure solutions are technically feasible, secure, and aligned with group standards.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Monitor IT performance and report on value delivery to stakeholders.
- Support governance, compliance, and risk management processes across IT programmes.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to align technology solutions with business needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong background in IT strategy, business engagement, and technology delivery.
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical and functional specifications.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Experience working across multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and project methodologies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or BCS Practitioner Certificate in IT Business Partnering.
