About the Job
We are seeking a highly organised and meticulous Technical Administrator to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of software licensing, digital certificate administration, and a range of other essential administrative duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a dynamic technical environment.
- Oversee and maintain comprehensive records of all software licences, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely renewal of all agreements.
- Administer and manage digital certificates, including issuing, renewing, and revoking certificates as required, and maintaining up-to-date inventories.
- Raise and manage purchase orders for software, hardware, and technical services, ensuring accurate records are kept and approvals are obtained in line with company policy.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of IT equipment and consumables, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Support the technical team with administrative tasks, including document management, logging service requests, and maintaining asset registers.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and audits related to software compliance, certificate status, and inventory management.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external queries relating to software licensing, certificates, and procurement processes.
- Contribute to process improvements and ensure all administrative processes adhere to best practice and company standards.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable experience in an administrative role within an IT or technical environment.
- Highly organised with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in the management of IT records and compliance documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software licensing, certificate management, and procurement processes preferred.
- Proficient in standard office and IT administration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, asset management systems).
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Whilst we work in a hybrid way, with collaboration being one of our values, we'd expect you to regularly be in our London office, to connect with our teams or customers in person, at least three days per week.
