The Payroll Team Administrator supports the payroll department with administrative tasks, ensuring accurate employee data, timely processing of documentation, and smooth payroll operations, across both our weekly and monthly payrolls. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in payroll or finance administration.
You’ll work collaboratively with our People Team and external payroll provider, proactively handle payroll queries, and help maintain best practices and compliance in all areas. Please note that this role is hybrid and based in our London Office in Bloomsbury (3 days per week). We’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn and progress within payroll, bringing energy, and a proactive attitude to the role. You’ll be confident working with data, solving problems, and liaising with colleagues across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Input employee data and payroll changes into excel.
- Maintain accurate and secure payroll files and documentation.
- Support payroll officers with preparing payroll reports.
- Respond to basic payroll queries and escalate complex issues.
- Update spreadsheets and assist with reconciliations where required.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal payroll procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the payroll team.
Benefits: Whilst we work in a hybrid way, with collaboration being one of our values, we'd expect you to regularly be in our Bloomsbury office, at least three days per week. 28 days holiday and get an extra day for each year you stay with us, up to max 33 days.
