Our goal is to empower students, educators, schools and governments with technology, expertise and resources to ensure a high‑quality education for all.
The group is shaped into four practices covering qualifications and training, recruitment and supply, professional services and SEND and inclusion with a strong passion and collective purpose to make a positive impact on the education sector. Our SEND & Inclusion Division provides high‑quality 1‑to‑1 and small‑group tuition for learners who are unable to attend mainstream school. This includes students experiencing exclusion, medical or mental health needs, school refusal or those awaiting a new placement. As part of our provision, we arrange essential exam access – from Functional Skills through to GCSEs and A‑levels – helping young people move forward with confidence.
We are now looking for a proactive, organised and detail‑focused Exams Administrator to join a newly formed central team, supporting exam delivery across the business.
- Be part of a purpose‑driven organisation making a real difference to young people's lives
- Join a new and growing team, helping shape ways of working
- Work in a supportive, inclusive culture where collaboration is valued
- Opportunities to learn, develop and build expertise in a specialist area of education
- A role where your attention to detail genuinely changes outcomes for learners
If you enjoy structured work, value quality and accuracy, and want to contribute to meaningful educational provision, we'd love to hear from you. This is a key administrative role at the heart of our exam provision. You'll coordinate the end‑to‑end exam process, ensuring learners have the right exams in place, at the right time, with the right support. You'll work closely with colleagues, tutors, parents/carers and external exam centres – keeping everyone informed and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
What you'll be doing:
- Act as the first point of contact for exam requests
- Manage the exam registration process from enquiry through to completion
- Liaise with parents/carers, tutors, staff, clients and exam centres
- Sourcing appropriate exam centres where required
- Confirm exam costs and progress updates to relevant stakeholders
- Apply for exam access arrangements where applicable
- Keep accurate, up‑to‑date records of exam applications and outcomes
- Track and report on exam status
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth learner experience
- Ensure all activity aligns with company policies, procedures and quality standards
We're looking for someone who enjoys organisation, problem‑solving and working as part of a supportive team. You'll ideally bring:
- Experience in an administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confidence juggling multiple tasks and priorities
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using systems and spreadsheets
- The ability to work independently while staying connected to the wider team
- A calm, solution‑focused approach, even under pressure
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in the education sector
- Knowledge of exams for private candidates
- Understanding of SEND and exam access arrangements
No formal qualifications required; however, GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (grade 4 or above) are desirable.
Benefits that actually make a difference:
- 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays, one extra day for each year of service up to a maximum of 33 days, and the option to purchase up to 5 additional days (all pro‑rata for part‑time roles)
- Enhanced paid family leave (after probation) to support new parents and long‑term carers
- Medical cash plan (after probation) covering everyday health costs such as dental, optical and prescriptions
- Life insurance from day one (up to four times salary) plus free wellbeing support with 24/7 GP, counselling, medical second opinions, physiotherapy and lifestyle coaching
- Pension contributions from both employer and employee (after 3 months)
- Discounts on a range of options to help your money go further
- Flexible benefits you choose, such as extra holiday, healthcare, bikes, gym, electric cars and Give As You Earn (after probation)
- Learning and growth opportunities through ongoing training and career development
- Paid volunteer days (three days each year, with two dedicated to education)
Employment offers are subject to satisfactory vetting checks. These checks will be run in line with the latest guidance and legislation. You will need to have the right to work in the UK; we do not offer sponsorship for visa applicants.
