It is a busy time of year at SupportED recruitment and we are looking for teaching assistants to work in our York schools. Working with Primary schools, we can provide roles in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. There are full time, part time and/or day to day opportunities to best suit your availability. The positions can be general teaching assistant work or include 1:1 opportunities within an SEN setting. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a classroom where you can really make a difference in children's lives and inspire the next generation then we would love to hear from you.
In the role your duties will include:
- Being punctual and professional
- Communicating effectively with teachers, support staff and the children
- Supporting children with their education, whether that is in a 1:1 or as a class teaching assistant role
- Creating a safe learning environment for children to develop socially, emotionally and academically
- Assisting in the monitoring pupil progress
- An eagerness to learn and develop good behaviour strategies, when assisting the class teacher
