SupportED recruitment are looking for teaching assistants of all abilities to work in our York, Thirsk, Selby and Leeds primary schools. We can offer part time, full time or general day to day supply opportunities, starting as soon as January 2025. Our roles can vary from a general teaching assistant, closely working with a pupil 1:1 or a combination of both. Although desirable, experience and qualifications are not necessarily needed to work as a teaching assistant. If you are passionate about working with children and show a willingness to learn new skills, we can support you in your development to be an amazing teaching assistant. In the role your duties may include: Supporting the class teacher deliver lessons and activities for the children Providing a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and develop Assisting primary pupils on a one-to-one basis Developing children’s social, emotional and academic needs in and outside the classroom Monitoring pupil progress Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contracts …
