It is a busy time of year at SupportED recruitment and we are looking for teaching assistants to work in our schools between Wakefield and Selby.

What the teaching assistant will do:
- Be punctual and professional
- Communicate effectively with teachers, support staff and the children
- Support children with their education, whether that is in a 1:1 or as a class teaching assistant role
- Create a safe learning environment for children to develop socially, emotionally and academically
- Assist in monitoring pupil progress
- An eagerness to learn and develop good behaviour strategies, when assisting the class teacher
What the teaching assistant will have:
- Previous experience in schools or childcare is preferable but not essential for the right candidate
- A proactive and can do attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
We can provide roles in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. There are full time, part time and/or day to day opportunities to best suit your availability. The positions can be general teaching assistant work or include 1:1 opportunities within an SEN setting.
