SupportED Recruitment are wanting teaching assistants who are looking to either start their career in education or would like to change their career pathway. We have many opportunities to work full time, part time or day to day in our York, Selby, Thirsk and Leeds primary schools. If you are kind and enthusaistic about assisting in children's education, then these roles could be for you. We have roles across primary school whether that is in EYFS, KS1 or a KS2 class. The positions can be either a general or 1:1 teaching assistant role or even a mixture of both. If you are looking for an opportunity to inspire the next generation and build primary TA experience then we would love to hear from you. In the role your duties will include: * Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities * Helping the children with their education, by helping to create an engaging learning environment. * Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis * Providing social and emotional support * Generating resources * Supporting the class teacher with potential challenging behaviour * Dealing with challenging behaviour
