Valley Group was founded in 2014 as Valley Electrical Services by our Managing Director, Sean Harkin. Today, they are a leading provider of building services, compliance, refurbishment, energy efficiency, and other associated services. Valley Group are looking to expand their Digital Team by recruiting a Digital Applications Support Apprentice! This apprentice will work towards an SCQF Level 6 Qualification based in their Glasgow office.
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices, credit notes, and employee expenses using cloud-based accounting software including Xero, ensuring accurate and efficient digital transaction processing.
- Verify and reconcile supplier statements across digital finance systems to maintain accurate records and quickly identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage digital invoice approval workflows to ensure all transactions are authorised in accordance with company financial controls and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready digital records of all purchase transactions within cloud accounting platforms.
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Excel as part of daily operations to communicate with suppliers, collaborate with colleagues, and manage financial data efficiently.
- Support HR and administrative processes through digital HR platforms such as BrightHR, helping maintain organised employee records and compliance documentation.
