Courier Connections are a courier and distribution company providing reliable same‑day, next‑day, palletised, and international delivery services. With a strong presence in Scotland and part of the EFS Global group, they operate multiple depots and a large vehicle fleet to support efficient UK‑wide and European logistics, alongside secure warehousing solutions. They are looking for a motivated individual to join their team!
What will I be doing?
- First responder to incoming enquiries from clients and acting as first response for the office email ticketing system on Microsoft Outlook. This will involve triaging phone calls and ticketed emails to the relevant team member.
- Become a “superuser” on Vigo – transport management software – tracking pallets and visibility, managing routings and handling daily operations for haulage and distribution to ensure smooth business operations.
- Maintain and organise the digital filing system on their internal bespoke filing system.
- Updating customers and internal databases using Pallet Track, to ensure all information logged is up-to-date both internally and externally.
- Utilising Samsara – fleet management system – to monitor tracking of vehicles and updating route plans with any changes, ensuring accurate updates and visibility to customers.
- Using Microsoft Excel to input and update data to internal spreadsheets, ensuring accurate information and efficient cross-communication between teams and drivers.
- Collaborate and communicate with team members to process documents in a timely manner to ensure workflow.
