Would you like to be part of a dynamic, award-winning, local charity that helps communities to thrive? Could you use your marketing and communications expertise to help shape and deliver a new internal creative and communications agency model, supporting teams across the organisation while also developing external, income-generating communications services for the VCSE and public sector?

We are looking to recruit a Communications Manager with strong agency or multi-client experience to play a central role in embedding this new way of working. Working closely with the Head of Public Affairs, the postholder will help improve and embed communications processes, guide and support departments through the transition to the agency model, and provide advice, leadership and direction to the wider communications team.

A key early focus of the role will be supporting the delivery of a comprehensive brand and digital audit, working closely with the Creative Studio Officer, followed by coordinating the organisation-wide rollout of updated brand and digital standards. Following the brand refresh, the postholder will line manage three Communications Officers and support the planning and delivery of major campaigns and complex communications projects, ensuring high-quality, consistent communications across all channels.

The role requires confidence working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations. Support Staffordshire is working hard to become more inclusive of the communities we serve, and as such is especially keen to hear from applicants with protected characteristics and lived experience, that bring knowledge, skills and experience.

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to complete an Application Form and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Monitoring Form. These can be found in the link below, along with the job description and person specification.
