We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate female Waking Night Support Worker to join our team supporting a client in Full Sutton. This requirement is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act (UK) due to the personal nature of the care and the client’s expressed preference.
Responsibilities
- You will provide attentive overnight support, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the client, monitoring needs throughout the night, and completing routine tasks and documentation as required.

Essential Requirements
- Female applicant – occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010
- Must be a non‑smoker and must not live in a household with smokers (This is essential due to the client's medical condition and sensitivity to smoke exposure)
- PEG medication administration experience
- Previous experience in waking nights or complex care
- Up‑to‑date mandatory/basic training
- Ability to provide two recent work references
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Ideal Candidate
You should be calm, attentive, reliable, able to work independently, and confident supporting a client with clinical care tasks during the night.
