About the role: Get ready to dive in and make a difference! We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to bring their expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/11i) and Oracle Database Core Technology to our vibrant team. In this exciting role, you will report directly to our Infrastructure Services Manager and play a crucial part in guiding our customers through their incidents, changes, and problem requests, ensuring every resolution is a success! This is a fully remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK while still being part of a close-knit, high-performing team that values communication, innovation, and results.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Actively participating and contributing to customer technical meetings and briefings, providing trusted insight and guidance.
  • Assisting our customers with incidents, changes, and problems, ensuring every resolution is smooth and satisfactory.
  • Delivering expert consulting services and cost-effective, fit-for-purpose solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Supporting continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Taking ownership of solution delivery, leading projects such as upgrades, implementations, and migrations.
  • Translating customer requirements into well-designed, practical, and scalable solutions.

What we’re looking for: To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • In-depth technical experience in Oracle Database Core Technology, including RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of working on complex database and application issues.
  • A dedicated and focused understanding of the Oracle Middleware technology stack.
  • Exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/11i).
  • Exposure to Cloud Operations (OCI, Azure or AWS).
  • Proficiency in Shell scripting.
  • Proficient O/S skills (Linux/Unix/Windows).
  • Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server and/or Oracle Application Server.
  • Experience of end-to-end project involvement (upgrades, implementations or migrations).
  • Bid support and estimation experience.
  • Active Security Clearance.

In addition, the following experience would be desired (but not essential):

  • An Oracle or Cloud certification.
  • OBIEE/Informatica.
  • Single Sign On/Oracle Access Manager.
  • MS SQL Server.
  • GoldenGate.
  • OEM.
