About the role: We’re looking for a confident, hands-on HR Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day HR operations and ensure our people processes run seamlessly across our global teams. This role is all about getting things done well - combining practical HR expertise with a genuine care for people. You’ll be a trusted partner to managers and employees alike, making sure everything from onboarding to offboarding runs smoothly, and that our policies, systems, and culture keep pace with our business. What you’ll be doing: As our HR Manager, you’ll lead the charge in making HR work efficiently and effectively across the business. You will:
- HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR activities across the UK, India and the USA
- Oversee onboarding, contracts, engagement initiatives and offboarding with accuracy and care
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, offering clear and timely HR guidance
- Supervise and support HR team members to ensure consistent, high-quality HR service delivery
- Performance & Engagement
- Manage our Competency Framework and Coach & Connect cycles to support development and career growth
- Coordinate probation reviews, performance conversations, and engagement check-ins
- Partner closely with line managers to help them be effective people leaders and confidently fulfil their responsibilities as line managers
- Keep engagement high through proactive communication and follow-up
- Compliance & Administration
- Maintain and update HR policies and processes across all entities
- Support payroll, benefits, and HR system accuracy
- Handle employee relations matters fairly, confidentially and in line with best practice and policy
- Projects & Reporting
- Deliver HR initiatives and improvement projects on time and to a high standard
- Prepare reports, track key HR metrics, and share insights with management
- Collaborate with Finance, Recruitment, and IT to ensure cross-departmental alignment
What we’re looking for: To thrive in this role, you'll need the following experience, skills and mindset:
- Hands-on experience leading HR operations, systems, processes, and employee relations in fast-paced environments within the tech space
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law; familiarity with India or US employment practices is a plus
- Proven ability to coach and develop line managers - equipping them with the tools, confidence and clarity to lead people effectively
- CIPD Level 5 qualified, working towards qualification, or qualified by substantial relevant HR experience
- Excellent organisational, communication, and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing demands
- Able to work with pace, agility, and ownership in a dynamic, growing organisation
- Proactive and hands-on, with a strong bias for action and delivery
