We're looking for an organised, proactive Learning Development Assistant to help us manage and deliver impactful training, manage our digital learning platforms, and support a culture of continuous growth. This role has room for development as our business grows with the potential to mould into a full-time role should business growth warrant it.
What you’ll be doing:

- Working with our L&D Manager to drive training attendance across all operational and support teams.
- Assisting in the creation and updating of digital learning using our authoring tools (no experience needed—just willingness to learn).
- Helping to coordinate workshops, onboarding events, and other L&D activities.
- Maintaining accurate training data and producing reports to help measure impact.
- Providing general administrative support to the L&D team.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone passionate about people development and early in their L&D career.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail—comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the business.
- A proactive mindset, keen to learn and take initiative.
- Experience with LMS platforms and e-learning tools is a bonus, but not essential.
- Willingness to study CIPD Level 3 (or already working towards it)—we can support the right person through the qualification.
Why join BM Caterers?
- Be part of a warm, supportive L&D function at a business that genuinely invests in its people.
- Opportunity to gain hands-on experience across digital learning, facilitation, and people development.
- Study support available for CIPD Level 3 and other professional development.
- A chance to shape learning culture in a growing, values-driven organisation.

- An annual day off for your birthday.
- Monthly masterclasses with Michelin-starred chefs.
- Fully funded development courses ranging from levels 2 to 7.
- Discounts and cashback at a wide variety of retail and leisure outlets.
- Cycle-to-work scheme.
