Our supported living schemes encourage independence and assist individuals in living positive and meaningful lives as part of the community. We work to enrich lives through maximising their personal potential whilst removing barriers and widening horizons for the people we support.
Support2Independence are rated as Outstanding by CQC and are also accredited by the National Autistic Society. We have support schemes on the Wirral, Cheshire West (in the Overpool area) and provide outreach services in the wider community.

Who are we looking for:
- Kind and compassionate individuals, who show a genuine interest and commitment to caring for people with learning/physical disabilities/mental health issues.
- Dynamic and passionate individuals willing to help the people we support to lead fulfilled lives to a high standard of care within one of our vibrant schemes.
- Experience as a support worker, carer, or healthcare assistant preferred but not essential as full training and guidance is supplied.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Full driving licence desirable but not essential.
What will you be doing:
- You’ll be working as part of a warm friendly team, based within one of our schemes assisting the people we support in a homely environment.
- Supplying 24/7 care on a rolling rota - covering early, late, wake nights and weekend shifts.
- Playing a pivotal role in an individual’s care team, supporting them to maximise independence, and giving them the opportunity to live their life to the fullest.
- Helping individuals participate in social and recreational community-based activities.
- Supporting individuals in their daily activities, accompanying them to appointments and outings.
- Ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate. Monitoring and reporting changes in behaviour or health status.
- Helping to maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals.
