Overview

You’ll support the day-to-day running of the Foundation by helping with administration, projects and community programmes. Working closely with the wider team, you’ll help keep activities organised and running smoothly while developing valuable administration and communication skills.

What you'll do

  • Support central administration systems across all areas of the organisation.
  • Support the Foundation with the day-to-day financial systems and procedures, adhering to organisation policy as directed by the Board.
  • Support the Monitoring and Evaluation system within the organisation and ensuring the systems are in place to ensure all officers understand and comply.
  • Support HR administration including but not limited to; recruitment, annual leave, working hours, absence of leave.
  • Support the communication systems across the organisation including IT and phones, ensuring first point of communication is professional and efficient at all times.
  • Manage and develop the data and CRM systems within the organisation, to allow improved marketing platforms.
  • Record minutes of meetings as required and ensure the central filing systems are efficient with all sensitive and contractual information stored in a secure and safe way.
  • Support and develop the office environment ensuring all times the place is professional and productive place of work.
  • Support the planning of meetings and diary appointments as and when required by SMT.
  • Support and implement procedures and efficient processes for travel, logistics and expenses to support the day to day operation.

Person Specification

  • This job is ringfenced to people that are eligible for the jobs guarantee scheme.
  • Able to get to WS14SA within 30 minutes commute.
  • DBS clearance.
  • Experience working with IT systems and different software.
  • The ability to work to meet deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to function in a team.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • A commitment to equality in sport and active recreation.
  • Previous administration experience.
  • A recognised Administration qualification.

Training and support

New staff will be supported by existing team members throughout the period of the Jobs Guarantee role. This support will be offered during appraisals and quality assurance checks. Training for the role will be supported throughout the 6 months, with potential opportunities to gain further qualifications where applicable. The opportunity to work at a local Professional Football Club. This role will give successful applicants an insight into the workings of a Football Club Charity. They will learn key, transferable skills and be able to use the experience as valuable content for future CVs and job searches. Additional benefits will include tickets to matches for the staff and guests and the opportunity to work in an efficient and friendly team environment.
