SupplyGo Education are hiring a mix of Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team and work on a variety of schedules (Full-Time, Part-Time & day-to-day) in a mix of Primary Schools in and around Swadlincote. As a Full-time Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing invaluable support to our classroom teachers, ensuring that our students receive the individualized attention and guidance they need to thrive. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive classroom support to our teachers, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience for our students.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of diverse educational activities, tailored to the individual needs of our learners.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to classroom teachers.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and classroom activities.
  • Offer one-on-one or small-group support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Contribute to the overall positive learning environment and promote an inclusive culture within the classroom.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of students.
  • A relevant educational qualification, such as a Teaching Assistant Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum and educational best practices.
