We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools across South Derbyshire, like Swadlincote, Burton-upon-Trent and the surrounding areas. This is a flexible and rewarding opportunity, ideal for individuals looking to fit work around their schedule while making a positive impact in education.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work across different primary schools on a day-to-day, short-term, or long-term basis, providing essential classroom support where it's needed most.

Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Assist pupils with their learning, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Provide support to pupils with additional needs where required
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with pupils and staff quickly
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's development and education
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) - desirable but not essential
  • Right to work in the UK
