Work Location: On-Site in Burton Upon Trent

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

About the Role

Join Supply Technologies as a Planner and help keep our customers supply chains moving. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you'll balance demand and supply, optimise inventory levels, and use ERP data to ensure products are available when needed. What you will be doing:

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, customer insights, and market trends.
  • Create and manage supply and replenishment plans to ensure consistent product availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to avoid stockout while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
  • Work closely with customer operations, sales, and procurement teams to align supply with customer requirements.
  • Identify and proactively resolve supply chain risks such as shortages, delays, or demand fluctuations.
  • Analyse planning data and performance metrics (e.g. service levels, fill rates, inventory turns) and recommend improvements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate planning parameters and master data within ERP/MRP systems.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and product lifecycle planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes and supply chain efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 3 years professional experience in materials planning, inventory planning or demand forecasting.
  • Planning experience with SAP would be advantageous but not a requirement.
  • Experience in a distribution environment is a plus.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, be able to prioritise multiple tasks, easily adapt to changing situations, and work well under pressure.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in teams with members from various disciplines.
