Supply Team are seeking a talented, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within Nursery, Primary and Secondary School settings in Swansea. Our Schools in Swansea require Teaching Assistants across all age groups, who are able to provide one-to-one support as well as being involved with small groups. No qualifications needed, these roles require you to have gained experience in a similar environment; whether that be within Education, Social Care, Youth Leadership, Sports Coaching – or something similar – you will have all the transferable skills required to undertake the duties of a Teaching Assistant.
What you can expect in the role of a Teaching Assistant:
- To work under the guidance of the class teacher in supporting the pupils;
- Assisting with the preparation of the classroom before each lesson, as well as tidying/collecting workbooks etc at the end;
- Helping with reading groups;
- Working on a one-to-one basis where required;
- Attendance of school trips;
- Being aware of child protection and safeguarding protocols;
- Accompanying pupils whilst out of class;
- Carry out general administrative duties, as directed;
- Help and organise wall displays.
