Supply Team Education are currently recruiting for a School Administrator to start work in a secondary school in Newport. This role will be full‑time (8:30am-4:00pm) and will start immediately. School Administrators play a crucial role in creating an organised environment for both staff and pupils within the school, providing professional administrative support, performing various duties.
Key responsibilities:
- Making and receiving telephone calls in a helpful and professional manner
- Directing enquiries to the appropriate person
- Monitoring email accounts
- Scheduling appointments
- Contacting parents, carers and outside agencies as required
- Maintaining attendance records
- Providing general administrative support to the school staff
- Using school systems for visitor sign-in
- Being aware of and complying with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
