Supply Team Education are currently recruiting for a School Administrator to start work in a secondary school in Newport. This role will be full-time (8.30am-4.00pm) and will start immediately.
School Administrators play a crucial role in creating an organized environment for both staff and pupils within the school, providing professional administrative support, performing various duties. Key responsibilities of the role are:
- Making and receiving telephone calls in a helpful and professional manner;
- Directing enquiries to the appropriate person;
- Monitoring email accounts;
- Scheduling appointments;
- Contacting parents, carers and outside agencies as required;
- Maintaining attendance records;
- Providing general administrative support to the school staff;
- Using school systems for visitor sign-in;
- Being aware of and complying with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
