At Supply Teach, we are recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Ripley. This is a long-term role with an immediate start, providing classroom support and leading learning sessions.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering small group interventions and covering whole-class lessons
- Supporting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
- Providing academic and pastoral support to pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Encouraging engagement and positive behaviour in the classroom
- Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- HLTA qualification (or extensive TA experience with additional responsibilities)
- Confidence in leading lessons and working with groups of children
- A nurturing and proactive approach to supporting pupils' learning and development
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for education
- Previous experience in a primary school setting is highly desirable
