Supply Teach is recruiting a Graduate Cover Supervisor to work in local schools. Gain first-hand experience of school life, build your confidence and discover whether teaching is right for you.
As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you’ll supervise classes during teacher absences, helping pupils complete work that has already been prepared.
Responsibilities
- Explain lesson tasks and help pupils stay engaged.
- Maintain a positive, focused classroom environment.
- Follow school behaviour and safeguarding procedures.
- Provide feedback to school staff after lessons.
Requirements
- An interest in teaching and working with young people.
- Clear communication skills and confidence leading a group.
- A reliable, organised and adaptable approach.
- Availability from 8:15am–3:15pm on their working days.
